|Amy Williams, DPT |
I graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I love what I do: working as a physical therapist, meeting new people, and learning and expanding my skills on a daily basis. I believe in creating individualized treatment programs to meet the specific needs of each person based on their functional goals, utilizing therapeutic exercise, as well as manual therapy and muscle energy techniques.
I have experience treating various diagnoses and conditions, including:
• Neurological Disorders
• Sport related injuries
• Neck and Back pain
• Post-Surgical conditions
• Ankle and Foot injuries
I have a special interest in working with children of all ages and abilities and was lucky enough to have a clinical experience at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago during my graduate school career. I am excited to and looking forward to expanding the pediatric physical therapy program at Rehab Concepts.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and being outdoors, running, hiking, biking, downhill skiing, or participating in water sports, including wake boarding. My husband and I are always busy planning our next outdoor adventure!
